Meeting with Energy Minister

The Gladstone Guardian (5:28 PM)

The Guardian can report that in meetings with high level government officials, the government official has stated "we are once again at the precipice of civil war." According to a minister, meetings with the the Gangor River Axis have exacerbated already tenuous relations between the two parties. The government official stated that a pipeline running north to south would be 10% cheaper than one running through the west. However, Nosfaratu and the Northwest Alliance desire the more expensive project, alleging that the reason for this is because they would like to hoard resources. Cromwell representatives have stated that they prefer the north to south plan, whereas they argue that east-west pipelines could stoke ethnic conflict.
We at the Gladstone Guardian would like to reiterate that our priority is the unity of the country and the best good of the people. We hope that crisis can be averted and that we remember that we are all here Discordians.
