The situation in Discordia is currently one of rampant speculation that is only serving to further undermine the stability in the region and may very well have repercussions in Great Britiain. And one thing is clear, that for the situation to get better only a strong economic injection will suffice. One that the Mentor believes will only come with the backing of Cromwell industries.
The country is currently seeing two factions, in a supposed unity government, fight for power behind the scenes. Reports are coming left and right that each party is in talks with each of either Cromwell or its chief rival Nosferatu. A situation that seems to be changing by the moment.
Cromwell has the backing of NGOs such as Open Books International for its transparency and willingess to open itself to outside speculation. Something Nosferatu fails to do to this day. Couple what with a government that has yet to adequately provide for its people and a situation that see declining revenues from its diamond mines and cocoa industries means alternative forms of revenue must be earned.
And the best way for that to happen is for a private company to come in and develop the region. As Cromwell sets up with the local stakeholders to make a stringent environment that calls for transparency and a willingness to reinvest in the country the Mentor believes that it can not only reverse the trend of its falling shares, but increase its reserves and position itself and Discordia for a more robust future.
