MORE EXPORT PRODUCTS: THE FUTURE OF COCOA PRODUCTION

The Discordia based NGOs Nurture and Shared Heritage and Cromwell’s local subsidiary DiscoCrom are in the midst of joint discussion over the eradication of the cocoa weevil. If eradicated, this will free up cocoa production for increased export opportunities and help bring additional future, non-oil based wealth in to the country.

This plan is contingent on the positive outcome of discussions with the local government and will advance as joint issues are resolved and funding is provided to DiscoCrom for this agricultural intervention.

All this goes forward with the added support of the Discordia Amity League (DAL), who along with Nurture and Shared Heritage is eager to see the cocoa weevil wiped out and the revival of Discordian cocoa production.

In the midst of ongoing conflict and indecision around the exploration of Block 77, Nurture, Shared Heritage, DiscoCrom and the DAL have prioritized other important ways to promote wealth and growth in Discordia.
