WPDB- Mystery "Supermajor Friends" to join the Oil Rat Race in Discordia

A new player has surfaced in the Oil Development contract in Discordia.  According to the Washington Patriot's energy correspondent, one of the US "Supermajor" oil companies is viewing Cromwell very seriously as a possible take-over target, arguing that Cromwell's share price and environmentalist and human rights defense stance on business represents a  loss of profit.   The so-called "Supermajor friends" have stated they could boost profitability by 15-20% in two years if they got control.

The question remains one of Corporate Social Responsibility and human rights violations.  Will this company provide this profit increase relying on a string of violations?  Given that this unidentified company is an American company, it is expected that they would have to abide by the Global Compact guidelines as well as adhere to article 27 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights to protect the region's Indigenous people.

The Discordia government is surely not willing to sacrifice the well being of its people or masacre their development for several generations.

That doesn't leave much room to mingle, does it?
