Recently the North-West Alliance met with the British oil company bidding for the Block 77 development, Cromwell, to discuss the general aspects of the proposed pipeline. This was the first meeting between Cromwell representatives and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, led by Hassan Jema under whose ministry, all oil development negotiations fall.
Environmental concerns were addressed and Cromwell expressed support for environmentally friendly projects.
Although there have been no other concrete outcomes from this meeting, the Gladstone Guardian has been advised that the North-West Alliance has not yet met with any Nosferatu representatives.
