THE PROTECTOR: ETHNIC CONFLICT IN DISCORDIA?
Vice President Abdullah Nasiru announced his plans to impose the Sharia Law in the northern provinces. This has struck fear in the Christian Alwi community and has led to sabotage and obstruction of oil exploration by the Alwi Resistance Front (ARF) and if this conflict is not addressed it will escalate and impede further oil explorations. The NGO source stressed that this is a very important issue critical to maintaining peace in the region. Potentially it adds to the plethora of issues plaguing Cromwell (or any other oil company considering a foray into Discordia). The onus is on all oil companies and the government to put all their efforts towards resolving this conflict in a peaceful manner.
