THE PROTECTOR: HIV COVERAGE--GOOD AND BAD NEWS [2:38]
The joint proposal for AIDS treament and prevention has been commented on by Cromwell. Humanity First tells us the following:
The anti-AIDS implementation plan has gone over well, changing only "AIDS clinics" to "HIV clinics." Cromwell does not have a number for funding at the moment due to a lack of knowledge about the trade routes they would build.
There would absolutely be this sort of coverage for Block 77; coverage of points on trade routes is likely as well.
There is not, however, any plan for local protection. Cromwell is interested in funding programs like this for those directly related to the company, not locals--even locals who have felt the impact of Cromwell.
In 2004, THE PROTECTOR published an article about transport routes in Discordia and how they influence HIV/AIDS transmission. Considering the fact that workers will be moving across the country and likely making stops along the way, we believe it is important to note that HIV impact could go much further than simply Cromwell's direct employees and pit stops. Though direct coverage is a good start, vectors like these absolutely must be considered so as to prevent rapid transmission of this disease nationwide.
