THE PROTECTOR: HUMANITY FIRST [3:58]

THE PROTECTOR: Humanity First Release [3:58]

Humanity First has given The Protector their recommendations for reducing growing violence in Discordia. Summary follows:

They are alarmed that the ARF is increasingly active in its insurgency. The ARF are responsible for the 2003 attack on the police post in Northern Discordia, in which 5 officers were killed. Recently kidnappings have occured as well.

Discordian authorities killed 35 innocent Alwis--not associated with the kidnapping--in a recent search, and have caused much collateral damage and casualties with air strikes.

Local sources have stated that Cromwell may be using the Army to provide security, which would exacerbate such conflict.

Their suggestions are to (also summarized):
- Stop responding violently to the ARF, so as not to provoke further support
- Not give financial compensation, because this would create an incentive to use violence
- Strengthen civil society and empower Discoridan citizens to promote peace.
- Emphasize dialogue between government, corporations, and the Alwi.
- Get Cromwell to explain links with army and expose their initatives to prevent worsening of conflict.
