The government denies canceling any concert, though Cyrus clearly did not cancel it herself. The minister of education also said that the concert had no philanthropic angle, so they had no reason to cancel it.
This statement is strange for its contradictions and implications--would philanthropy lead to cancellation? Another bad implication for the government.
